Sautéed Greens


1 pound collared greens

4 medium cloves garlic

2 tbsp Canola oilfoodlink

1/4 tbsp salt

1/4 tbsp ground black pepper



Cutting Board

Large Bowl

Large Skillet

Measuring Spoons

Mixing Spoons

Sharp Knife



  1. Remove hard stems from greens
  2. Stack leaves on top of each other, and cut into 1/4 inch wide strips
  3. Rinse cut greens in bowl of cold water
  4. Peel and mince garlic
  5. Heat oil in skillet over high heat, Add greens a few handfuls at a time, stirring in between each addition. Stir until greens are wilted, about 1-2 minutes.
  6. Reduce heat to medium, and add garlic. Cook until greens are soft and excess water is gone, about 5-7 minutes. Turn heat down if garlic starts to brown.
  7. Season with salt and pepper and serve!
