Interested in signing your restaurant/nutritional education program up for a cooking demo?

 

 

 

 

 

Description: The South Wedge Farmers Market schedules chefs from local restaurants and nutritional education programs to perform cooking demonstrations at the market. These demonstrations often show shoppers how they can turn the ingredients they    purchase into healthy and tasty recipes. The recipe is selected by the chef and recipe cards are distributed to the shoppers.

Logistics: The market takes place every Thursday from June 9th – October 13th from 4pm-7 at Genesee Gateway Park (Mount Hope and Alexander). We provide a convection burner, power source, tasting spoons, sampling cups, limited cooking supplies, and $20 of tokens to shop at the vendors for ingredients.In considering schedule demands, the market runs from 4pm-7, we ask the cooking demonstrator to be present from at least 5pm-6.
